Wrapped around one of Manama’s oldest districts, the Cultural Center brings a new civic space to a community still reconciling with its own history. The auditorium wraps around itself to bring light into a tight urban site, and the project has since restored roughly ten traditional Bahraini houses in the surrounding area.
